Attention Snowbirds!
Please notify the church office if you are going away for the winter and would like to receive the church newsletter while you are away. It also saves us from having to pay “postage due” when the mail is returned to us because you are “temporarily” away.
Thank you, and we'll see you again in the spring!
Upcoming Outreach Opportunities
- We are always collecting personal care items (toothbrushes, razors, etc.) for veterans.
Youth Mission Fundraiser
Please bring in your cans for the youth to help support their projects.
NECM Hunger Ministry News
- Pantry Needs: Fruit, Vegetables, Meat, Pasta, Fruit Juice, Personal Care Items, Diapers, etc. Contributions benefit the North End Community Ministry.
- Grocery offerings for our NECM Hunger Sunday on the 4th Sunday of the month (and any other time you would like to donate) can be placed in the grocery cart in the Narthex.
- Save all your grocery bags - paper and plastic - for use at the NECM food pantry. Put them in the grocery cart in the Narthex.
- NECM is in need of volunteers on weekdays (mornings or afternoons). If you are interested, call Laura Castle at 454-1097. Thank you!
Recycling
- There is a small basket by the entry doors in the Narthex for the recycling of the Sunday bulletins, rather than disposing of them in the wastebaskets.
- We no longer have a drop-off for newspapers at our church. If you wish to recycle your newspapers, look for a Paper Gator near you or drop them off at the Walker Firefighter’s Association trailer in the parking lot of Ace Hardware at 4300 Remembrance Rd. NW.
