Rest…it’s something we often long for but find it’s availability allusive. The longing of God is for our deep resting rooted in relationship with Him. This resting does not preclude storms and droughts but in their midst we have a quiet, confident, stillness in which love holds us strong. As David writes, we too find, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want….Even though I walk through the darkest valley, your rod and staff they comfort me.”
